Triggers are a gift

We are reflections of each other; the things we believe we ARE, and the things we believe we are NOT.

When you get triggered by words or behaviors, ask yourself, what part of you this is bringing up?

This has been an enormous tool to help me recognize everything from deep negative beliefs, insecurities that I can't shake, and things that I push away and reject about myself!

The next time you get emotionally triggered by someone's words, shut down, or feel uncomfortable, ask yourself:

“How does this behavior represent me?"

“Am I rejecting something about myself?"

“Is there something about this person that I want to be that I don't know how to bet yet?"

People are mirrors for both the good and bad within us- and that's ok- it doesn't mean that we are less- it doesn't mean we are wrong for being triggered either.

You are already perfect as you are, how you are, and, there is always room to grow...

You. Are. More. ❤
