“Ready” doesn’t mean perfect
“𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲” 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 “𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭”
Have you been waiting for the perfect moment to make a move? The perfect amount of money? The perfect credentials? The perfect thing to say? The perfect marketing plan? The perfect time when the kids go back to school? The perfect moment to work on yourself? The perfect healing process?
Trust me guys, it is constant reminder to myself that I don’t have to:
✖️Be more… Do more…
✖️Collect more evidence that it’s possible
✖️Look really good while I am doing it
✖️Have my shit totally together first
✖️Have every single answer before I jump
Do you relate?
It is our human condition to have these inner conversations. Our ego is designed to protect us from emotional pain- and it is currently doing a stellar job of limiting us.
I spent so much of my life stopping myself from pursuing growth and my next level before I even had a chance to begin.
Why? 𝑩𝑬𝑪𝑨𝑼𝑺𝑬 𝑰 𝑩𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑫 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑺 𝑵𝑬𝑬𝑫𝑬𝑫 𝑻𝑶 𝑩𝑬 𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑭𝑬𝑪𝑻 𝑻𝑶 𝑻𝑨𝑲𝑬 𝑨𝑪𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵.
Nothing could be FURTHER from the truth.
The soul truth that changed the game for me was this:
“Ready” doesn’t mean “perfect”.
There is no magic level you have to reach before you can invest in your dreams, your growth, and your purpose. 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐲 “𝐲𝐞𝐬”. 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨.
Just start walking! Just one step… one.
When I first started walking each day with purpose, speaking louder, loving deeper, and taking risks to uplevel my life, I must have fallen down every other day. I still do!!
But that’s just it, I stumbled all the way to my goals. Recommitted over and over again to building new habits, patterns, and mindsets. I tripped all the way to success. I fell…𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆… 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒚 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒚 𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇.
You are BEYOND worthy of finding out just how capable you truly are.
YOU ARE READY- just as you are.
Perfectionist in the house say “Aye”! 🙋🏻♀️
